This Privacy Charter covers all natural persons who share their personal data directly or indirectly with EuropaTrad by visiting our websites or by using our services.
In this Privacy Charter, we will explain what types of personal data are likely to be processed, and for what purpose.
We will also explain the choices you have regarding our processing and the ways in which you can get more information about our processing and your rights.
EuropaTrad is a company established in France and, as such, we comply with French legislation regarding the protection of personal information (1998:204), which applies the European Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC.

SCOPE OF THE PRIVACY CHARTER
Please note that this Privacy Charter covers the processing of personal data for which EuropaTrad is the Data Controller, i.e. in cases where EuropaTrad decides on the purposes and the means of the processing.
For the avoidance of doubt, this Privacy Charter does not cover any personal data processing operation that may be carried out by EuropaTrad as a Data Processor as a result of your use of our services.
For more information about the ways in which our services may be used to facilitate your personal data processing operations, and the related responsibilities and commitments of EuropaTrad, please consult the applicable terms and conditions in our T&C or in any specific provisions.
PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED
Personal data refers to the data that can identify you as a natural person.
We may have to process the following personal data concerning you:
- Your contact details including your name, email address and telephone number
- User information, for example; if you connect to our service or visit our websites.
This information may include the IP address, the type of device and the browser, time zone, geographical location, as well as your interests and information preferences as to how you interact with our services, for example regarding the features used and buttons clicked on. - Other information that we receive from your contacts
The information collected on this site will be retained for a three-year period, unless successive business relations are maintained beyond this 3-year period with the persons who submitted their data.
Purposes of processing personal data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide our services in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions
- To administer business relations with you or the client you represent
- To develop and improve our services
- To initiate or assess a collaboration with you (employment contract or sub-contracting as a sole trader)
DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES AND TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES
We may disclose personal data to third parties for the purposes outlined above.
For the avoidance of doubt, we will not disclose personal data to third parties for these third parties to use personal data for direct marketing purposes in relation to you as a private individual, but only as a representative of a current or potential EuropaTrad client.
We may transfer personal data to a country outside the EEA, however we must obtain your consent or ensure that the transfer is legal and secure, by taking additional measures.
As explained above, please bear in mind that this privacy charter does not cover any data processing operation that you are responsible for as a result of using our services.
You, or the party you represent, are always responsible for your personal data processing operation in accordance with current laws.
Your rights
We are required to process specific, relevant and necessary personal data, taking into account our legitimate purposes.
You have the right to monitor us.
In accordance with the provisions of articles 39 and 40 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 amended in 2004, you have the right to access, correct, update and delete information on you which you can exercise by writing to EuropaTrad, 33 Cours Albert Thomas F-69003 Lyon, specifying in the subject of the letter “Personal rights” and attaching a copy of your ID, or by writing an email to dpo@europatrad.eu.
You also have the right to give instructions on what you want to happen to your data after your death.
In accordance with the provisions of article 38 of the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 amended in 2004, you can also object, on legitimate grounds, to your data being processed and, without grounds and at no expense, to this data being used for purposes of sales prospecting by EuropaTrad.
This data will not be transferred or sold to third parties under any circumstances.
